Q.
#AskTheExpert my baby is 1 month old. he stretches and grunts a lot. becomes red and wakes up from sleep due to stretches. please suggest something

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver.fr
its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important.
Enzyme preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.

As their muscles develop, their arms and legs start to move more freely, stretching out to make them seem taller and leaner. During their first 2 months, your baby is growing very quickly. They will keep growing at this rate, probably gaining about 900g and growing 2.5 cm to 3.8 cm every month.
