Q.

my baby girls birth height is 46 cms..the pediatrician has said it's small as per required..should I be worried?

A. due to health issues my baby is formula fed only...what to do in such a case?

A. no that's fine you have to give only breastfeeding /milk to the child till completion of 6 months of age and before 6 months of age if you are giving any type of outside food or complementary feeding it can cause digestion problem in the child. no need to give water also because breast milk contains 80% of water and water also is given after six months of age only. it is advisable to continue the the multi vitamin and supplement medicines given by your doctor.

A. I meant it's the height of the child at the 5 day of birth

A. It is 1 1/2 feet that’s a very good height for a child from the time of birth itself I I do not know why your doctor is mentioning that but that’s a very normal height for a child further more you can check with any other paediatric and as per WHO standards as well if you want
