Q.
My baby girl who is 30 days old dosnt feed during day time..she just feed for 5-10 minutes every 3-4 hour. i try fail attempts waking her up. She feeds only at night for about 40 minutes every 2-3 hour. Is this normal or should i get her checked.

Shruthi bettadapuraMom of a 10 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. There is not problem with the child it is the way the baby is holding on to your breast. There is a lacking problem the baby is not able to hold the nipples properly also do you feel sore nipples or do you feel any pain there. Make sure you forcefully put more of the nipples into the child’s mouth that helps in avoiding this problem. You can look for lactation consultants in your locality they will come home and guide on how to feed the child
