my baby girl of 2 months old getting water and puss from her eye and eye become reddish colour she is not able to open like the both eyelashes were sticked please tell me the reason and remedy. thank you

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. Eye discharge in newborns is common and often the result of a blocked tear duct. The blockage will usually clear up by itself within 4 to 6 months. However, newborns with eye redness, eye discharge, or excessive watering from the eyes should see a doctor to diagnose the cause and to rule out an eye infection.
