Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Diaper rash usually results when there is irritation of skin or any infection or allergy. Most common cause of skin irritation there is when diaper is left for too long or the fecal matter in diaper rubs against the delicate skin. so diaper should be changed every 3-4 hrs at least and avoid using diaper for all time . give diaper free interval in between.
Prevention for rash because of this is most important where frequent changing of diaper is necessary along with a good company diaper.
For treatment a good diaper rash cream is required like b4 nappy , rashfree cream and diadper freee interval should be given. apply coconut oil and wash with luke warm water with no rubbing.
