my baby girl fever is 101+ what should I do gave her peracetamol or not

A. please give paracetamol to the baby and do cold sponging of the baby hg Fever is the response of the body against foreign infection like virus bacteria etc no need to use any medicines unless the temperature is more than hundred degrees
