my baby get toe injury and black coloured nail due to hitting ...what should I do..full nail got bluish black...tell me some remedies

Q. My kid is 2.6 years old. His toe nail is partially falling off. It maybe because he had a slight injury on his toe 3 weeks back and had a small bluish mark under his toe nail. Please advise me on the care to be taken to clean his toe. and if i can apply bandage on it to ensure the nail which is going too fall off does not hurt him. There is no infection on the nail bed. It is clean and dry.
