my baby boy z 2 months old and he z having cold. any advice what can I give him

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and accguording to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any d fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
