Q.

My baby boy’s stool is very irregular that he does motion after 3 days sometimes 4 days. What do I do to make it regular

A. baby is only three months of age you had to wait for some time It is quite common that small babies will be passing stool even 8 to 10 times per a day which is absolutely normal for them there is no need to use medicines you can give neopeptine drops 0.5 ml 2 times a day for digestionThere is no need to use any medicines for constipation in babies below the age of 6 months a baby can go without passing stool even after 8 to 10 days also it is common in babies of this age

A. Hello dear parent! Maintain a good personal hygiene for your child. Exclusively breastfed babies might not be passing stools even for a week, it is normal. As long as your baby is active and healthy, accepting feeds, passing adequate urine, showing no discomfort symptoms then nothing to worry. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand. Speak to your doctor for further advice.
