my baby boy is 20 months old I need to stop breastfeeding give any solution he's not drinking cow milk also in bottle r sipper

A. dear mum, Breastfeeding should be stopped gradually so as to make it less stressful for you and your baby. Ensure that the child eats enough; increase number of meals. Increase interval between breastfeeds. Drop one feed every day per week. Taper over 2-3 months. Stop morning breastfeeds first, then afternoon feeds after 2 - 3 weeks. Avoid situations that remind the baby of the breast: other family members and father can help with feeding and putting child to sleep. The nighttime feeding is usually the last to go.
