My baby birth weight was 1.85kg delivery week was 35 Now my baby is 2 months 8 days old and the weight is 4kg. Is the frequency of weight gain is normal or low?

A. dear mum the wt gain of your baby is good also follow up the growth of the baby with the pediatrician exclusively breastfeed tge baby frequently on demand

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Babeis they gain around 200 gms per week in the first month after birth. Then the babies they gain around 500 gms every month till six months. Feed after every 2-3 hours interval or when demanded by the baby for weight gain. give only breastmilk till completion of six months. start vitamin d and multivitamins supplements regularly. give Sunbath every morning for half an hour. massage regularly with coconut oil or almond oil.
