my 8 months old baby getting fever 100.3F . what to do

A. for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only considerx it as fever and give paracetamol. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be givend only after medical consultation. after giving fever medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere

A. Calpol you can give approximately 10 drops to your child every six hours you can repeat it the fever is very mild right now so you can also do cold sponging that is going to be benefiting and reducing down the temperature
