my 6months baby catched cold and the temperature is 99 nose is blocked

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of f viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Sinarist 1ML twice a day for three days can be given to the child along with that for block nose you can use nasal drops and if your child is having fever that’s 99° fahrenheit which is very mild so you can give Calpol to your child or paracetamol whatever is available to you as of now
