My 5 months and 4 days old daughter is pooping sticky small amount 7-8 times a day from yesterday.what to do?

A. Mucus in baby poop isn't always cause for concern. The intestines naturally secrete mucus to help stool pass more effectively through the intestines. Sometimes, a baby may pass some of this mucus in their stool without any underlying condition. The mucus can look like slimy streaks or strings.
