Q.

My 4 months old baby is drinking milk for just 10 to 15 minutes and she will get engaged in playing. Do she get full? She has 6 kg body weight. Her birth weight was 2.85kg. She is urinating for almost 12 times a day. Why is she not drinking more breastmilk? And how can I increase the time?

A. Dear mum, your child’s weight of 6 kg is absolutely normal for 4 months old baby. Baby should double the birth weight by 6 months or earlier, which your baby has already achieved. Your baby’s urine output is also normal. So, do not worry about baby’s feeding. Feed as per your baby’s demand.
