Q.
My 4 month old wakes up at night all of a sudden after sleeping around10-15 minutes.He remains in a deep sleep but I am not getting why he wakes up suddenly and keep on crying until I pat him and make him sleep again.This happens between 12am to 5am.After this his sleeping schedules continue properly for the whole day without any interruption.Please help to make him sleep peacefully without any distractions.

Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially which becomes regularize at around 6 to 8 months of age and if the baby is comfortable with no irritability because of itynfantile colic nasal blockage any regurgitation etc you shouldn not worry just give a comfortable position to the baby and no medicine is required.
