Q.

My 4 month baby has cough and is breathing from mouth. Sometimes while coughing it seems like there is blockage. Please suggest?

A. Nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inshalation . anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation. A. Put 2 drops of nasoclear in the baby's nose .
