my 3 year old girl is having cough and cold..im giving her Maxtra but improvent doesn't seems any advice plzz?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is having a coughs so give her syrup Tus Q 5 ml twice a day for 15 days and give her indirect steam inhalation as well

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be givenhn to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
