my 21 months old baby has lost the appetite and takes very little food. we tried various options and various food to give him but he is not feeling to eat anything. Is there any home remedy or medicine to increase the hunger and his appetite. he has recently lost 2 kg weight as well.

Good Growth of the child is very important and for this most important is that child should take a healthy diet where its necessary to give a balance diet which should contain all the nutrition required. This is very important for building the immunity also.
 Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items  like soyabean eggs etc.
Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most common.
Supplements lifke iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 mgonths to increase the appetite. 
Diet counselling is also very important .
