my 1year 7 month old kid have cold and cough what to do

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. yeit s flu. Cold and cough is due to seasonal change and is of viral and is common .
Safest to give indirect steam inhalation for nasal block and also protect baby with wollens clothes . Can put nasivion / saline drops . Take flu vaccine yearly for protection from flu after six mnths of age . Nebulization can be done by doctor advise . See a doctor if fever or discomfort .

Give three meal and two snacks
Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc
