Q.
My 13 month old baby suffered from viral fever 10 days back. He has recovered but is still not eating properly..he is eating lesser than usual and is sometimes skipping meals. He has lost weight too. What should I do? Iam worried because he is playing and active like before but not eating

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is very common that during the disease process the child will have loss of appetite as well as after the disease the child will have decreased appetite for food and this will last for at least one week.
you have to provide plenty of water to drxink and you can give food rich in fluids as well as juice extracted from fruits which will help in improving the appetite.
if if the child is having nutritional deficiency the doctor will add multivitamixn supplements to increase the appetite.
