A. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day. If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool. No medicines needs to be given in such a dcase but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard. It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age. intermittent crying of the child is due to colic pain and not due to constipationx.

A. hello breastfeed baby will have less and can go without passing motion for a week but if the baby is not passing motion even after a week then it would be better to check with your doctor and she will be able to advise you accordingly with a suppository it that can help baby pass motion if required
