my 1.5 year old baby boy is still unable to speak... is this a sign to worry or is it ok?

A. babies at 1 yr says the basic words as papa dada mumma keep encouraging the baby more n more.. break the words and sentences and let the baby repeat after u.. let the baby mingle same age grps...
