Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. If he has not even uttered a single word u should get his hearing test done immediately. If he is only slow is speaking, the only key is to keep communicating with ur baby regularly. Question him and urge him to answer. Talk to him about everything that u see around. Tell more stories. A continuous verbal conversation with ur baby will improve his vocabulary and encourage him to speak more. Limited screen time can also help to improve kid's vocabulary. If u r still worried u may consult with a speech therapist.
