ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear parent, if your baby has doubled the birth weight by 6 months then do not worry. for healthy weight gain of 6.5 months old baby, give top food 2 to 3 times a day and up to half katori every time. give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. consistency of food should be like that of Ghee. add Ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible. use top milk to prepare recipes like porridge, kheer and give as milk products like curd, paneer. avoid fruit juice and soup. continue to breastfeed baby.
