Many children start walking between 12 and 18 months. However, if she isn’t standing with support, cruising along furniture, or showing signs of trying to walk, you can encourage her by helping her practice with support—like holding your hands or using a sturdy push toy. Ensure she gets plenty of tummy time and time to play on the floor to strengthen her leg muscles. If she shows no progress or you feel concerned, it’s a good idea to consult a pediatrician to rule out any developmental delays or underlying issues. Early support can make a big difference.
