It is considerably more frequent than the discharge in the first trimester but is perfectly normal as it occurs due to the hormonal changes through a woman’s body. However, if you notice bloody discharge or foul-smelling discharge in your second trimester, it can indicate a problem. In such a case, you should consult a doctor immediately.
