Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. black tongue can be due to iron supplements you might be giving to the child and it should get cleaned with your clean finger.
if it is not decreaxsing in intensity after cleaning then you will have to rule out fungal infection of the tongue.
it is advisable to get the child examine by the doctor.
