mere baby ko kal se cold and coughing ho rhi hai jisko wajah se wo feed nhi kar pa rhi hai to pls suggest karo kya karu?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce thfsse fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Check with paediatrician for saline water nasal spray.
At home you can try eucalyptus oil/vicks on a cloth near her head, or sek through ajwain potli.
Please DO NOT apply vicks vaporub on her skin directly, it can cause harm to baby's skin.
