lactation specialist please reply: my 4.5 month old baby is holding my nipple very hardly with her gums. she leaves and holds it very quickly like she is playing. I'm unable to nurse her from that breast as it's paining very badly and it has become sore. it's paining and one part of the nipple has become white.

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 4.5 months old and she use to catch hold your breast nipples with her gums very tightly so mostly either due to teething pain or insufficient breast milk,apply mace cream twice a day
