It’s been 5 days since my baby had motion.He is crying a lot and having struggles to poop.But he couldn’t pass

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child.
it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age.
if still the hard stool continues you have to visxit the doctor to find the cause.
but if you are giving formula milk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digested by the child and you willx have to change the brand of formula milk.

Jasmine KaurTrying To Conceive3 years agoA. Hello dear parent, babies upto 6 months of age can hold their poop for 7 days but beyond that period you must consult with your paediatric once. To prevent this situation you must burp your baby after every feed by holding him in upright position and massage his back for 20 mins and 4 burps are necessary. Good luck and take
