is it safe if the baby sleeps flat?

A. When you say baby sleeps Flat I am not understanding that can you please give me a side or exact position where you make your child sleep because in this age you should always make your child sleep in different positions like left right and then back so keep changing otherwise the head will become flat from one side and not on the tummy is advisable in this age
