is it normal for new born baby to get umbilical cord fallen after five days only.what ointment can be used to get wound healed there.

Yes it is totally normal if you see that a wound is over there then you should clean it with a mild anti septic liquid and after that you can apply Sofromycn onto that area but if you are sure it is a wound and it would be advisable for you to get it checked with your doctor as well
