is it compulsory for the baby who lives in up,India? How much chance is there to be affected with menengitis if vaccine is not given #Vaccination

A. meningococcal vaccine is an optional vaccine. it is usually given either at 9 months of age and one year of age as a a 2 dosage regimenc or you can go for a single dosage after two years of age. your doctor is the best person to tell you whether it is required by your child or not. my persxonal advice would be that if you can afford the vaccine you should get the child vaccinated for any disease for which vaccine is available
