Q.
im brestfeeding mom of 1month baby. i have cold cough n sneezing from yesterday. Can i take medicine? if so which tablet?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. take tablet cetirizine 10mg once a day and paracetamol 500 mg can be taken for fever as well as pain. go for hot saline gargles at least 4 times per day and take tulsi ginger honey as well as turmeric with milk. you cane continue breastfeeding if going on. if there is noe improvement in 3 days it is advisable to meet the doctor.
to prevent the spread of cold and cough from mother to the child the mother has to do regular hand washing and use face mask while giving breastfeeding and this will prevent spread of cold cough from mother to the child.
can take paracetamol for fever and pain. e
