I wanted to ask that Flu Vaccine for kids is compulsory or still we need to wait as vaccine drive has just started. please advice on this.

A. Child vaccination needs to be postponed in the covid pandemic situation to avoid risk and exposure of thhge child but as the situation is getting somewhat better now so you can discuss with your doctor regarding this and specially influenza vaccine can be given if it is due

A. Doctors recommend that your child get a flu vaccine every year in the fall, starting when he or she is 6 months old. Some children 6 months through 8 years of age may need 2 doses for best protection. Dr recommends a flu vaccine by the end of October, before flu begins spreading in your community.
