Q.

I m mother of 2 year old .. I had taken covid vaccine covisheild at 29th June and after 5 days from vaccine means yesterday my both legs and knee is paining .. I don’t understand what happened

A. I have also pain in legs muscles and little swelling

A. Hello, your baby boy is 2 years old and if you have taken Covid vaccination and you got a pain in your knees so there’s no any relationship between vaccinations and joints pain

A. Covid vaccination like covishield/ covaxin in the breastfeeding mothers can be given very safely . According to the latest guidelines issued by healthy ministry pregnant women can also be now safely given the current available vaccines . so they can also register at covin app. Minor complications lrrike fever lethargy pain at injection site can be handled safely by taking paracetamol . Presently children are not included in this list. Mothers can feed their child as soon as required after the vaccination very safely with no side effects in the child
