During pregnancy there are total for sonography to be done the
1st one in your early pregnancy to know about the baby's cardiac activity
2nd is the NT scan which detects fetal defects if present
3rd scan is an anamoly scan to know about all the body parts of the baby
4th is done during 9 month to know about baby's growth pattern and amniotic Fluid level

This scan is carried out from 11 weeks to 13 weeks and six days. It is performed to examine the structural development of the baby and to screen for chromosomal abnormalities like Downs syndrome.
