Q.
I'm 12 weeks pregnant. from the beginning of my pregnancy I am observing brown discharge. not heavy but spotting. so doctor kept me on progesterone injections and tablets. 2 days ago I came to Germany.my doctor saw ultra scan and did NT scan and he told me to stop all progesterone related tablets and injections. I would like to know is it safe to stop at this stage? does my doctor knows when to give and stop progesterone? please advise me

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. Now since you are 12 weeks pregnancy is over so yes you can stop the progesterone supplement , as till now the reports would be good enough to suggest you to stop the progesteton
so if needed you can consult with your treating doctor about this
