also the gas in abdomen of the child is not due to diet taken by the mother.
mother can takee all types of home made food which is good for her own health.
it is advisable to take all types of food made from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits and milk by the mother.

You may but better not
as mom should avoid the food that is heavy to digest as she's brest feeding and the food she take s affects the baby as well
there are plenty veg alternatives of it
