I got seizures episode, my baby is in breastfeeding. doc suggested me to take tab levipil 500 mf twice . does it effect the baby . can I breastfed him ?

A. Levels of levetiracetam in milk can be relatively high in some women and can occasionally cause sedation and other adverse effects in their breastfed infants. If levetiracetam is required by the mother, it is not necessarily a reason to discontinue breastfeeding.
