Q.
I didn't have thyroid earlier but as a safety measures I was given Thyronorm 12.5mcg in my entire pregnancy and was continuing till yesterday when my baby girl turned 54 days old. I have stopped taking Thyronorm as per doc advise. I and my 54 days old daughter did TSH testing when I was still having thyroid medicine. My question is does Thyronorm 12.5mcg will affect TSH levels of my daughter in her thyroid report?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. do a new thyroid testt. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide yousee only the doctor who can see you in person can judge what is the right status. best to trust her
