I did ct scan of my 10 months old after he did vomiting after a fall…at that time I was not aware of the radiation side effects…the doctor didn’t made me aware of it…now as I get to know it I am super scared…I can’t even sleep at night…plz tell me is one ct is safe or not..will it cause any long term or short term future risk…kindly reply….

Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness  reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs  immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. 
Recutyrrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can lead to some chronic manifestations occasionally .
Also tdeeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is commonly associated  and can be easily missed out most of the time .
