Is there any chance that baby will turn to cephalic? AFI is 17cm, slightly more than adequate. This is our 2nd baby. 1st baby was cephalic since 23 weeks.

Q.

I am currently 37 weeks pregnant. Last month we did an ultrasound, the baby was in breech position. This week we did an ultrasound the baby is in transverse position. Is there any chance that baby will turn to cephalic? AFI is 17cm, slightly more than adequate. This is our 2nd baby. 1st baby was cephalic since 23 weeks.

A. Thank you for the response. Baby is cephalic now with vertex presentation.

A. Hi mom. Chances are almost nil. After 32 weeks baby does not change its position or hardly moves.. Consult ur gynaecologist for the same as she will guide you better in this situation after the proper evaluation of the baby.
