Q.
I am Brest feeding my 2months old baby now I got cold did my son will also get cold due to Brest feeding?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. yes can get Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be benheficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello if the mom is having cold it does not pass through the taking necessary precaution when you are feeding the baby will help the baby from catching cold so try to wear a mask when you are feeding the baby which would be a better option to prevent the baby catching cold
