Q.
I am a mom of one month old baby, my baby sucks more than an hour while feeding even after she feels hunger so I used to do express breast feeding. I am taking lactre tablets to increase breast milk and having well balanced diet still I feel either low breast milk or she doesn't drink properly. how to reduce the sucking time nd avoid express breast milk

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. most of the small babies will be getting required in milk within 10 to 15 minutes of active sucking afterwards babies will be doing only dream feeding . . .

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. good evening I would recommend that you should continue taking the tablets but apart from that you can substitute with the little bit of formula milk to make sure that the baby is not remaining hungry
