Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hi dear Your child's hair is curly because each individual strand of hair is a squashed oval shape which makes the hair twist back on itself. (Staight hair is more of a round circle shape like a drinking straw.) Think of holiday gift wrap ribbon and how it curls back on itself into a ringlet pattern.
