how to measure head circumference

A. Hello parents,good evening At birth generally full term baby have their head circumference 34-35 cms.head circumferance will increase by 2cms per month for first 3 months of age and then 1cms for next 3 months till 6 months of age.after 6 months of age head circimference will increase by 0.25 cms per months till 1 year.

You can measure it with an inch tape that’s the only way to actually check it further I’m going to recommend you in case of any doubt you can always check with your doctor they’ll do the needful for you and they will be able to tell you whether it is taking an appropriate structure and growth or not
