POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl2 years agoA. Some kids are fast learners and some of them take time to do things independently, but that does not mean the latter lacks any development milestone. For every child, the learning pace is different.
To develop self eating, first keep giving finger foods frequently. Also, let him sit with you on the dining table for food. Give him his own plate to eat from. Initially, it might take him time to finish, but slowly he will learn. It can take few months, but let him follow the routine.
