How to cure cough and cold in 1 month old baby

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. baby is only one month of age you have to consult doctor for any problem Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine ftwhich should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.x
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
